GETTING THE BEST RECORDING OF YOUR MUSIC
Please do everything you can to make your equipment sound its best before you get to the studio.
New guitar and bass strings are a good idea, as well as a few spares in case you break any.
Check the batteries and power supplies for your effect pedals, and make sure all your leads are working.
Test your amplifiers and make sure there are no earth hums or crackles.
New drum skins and good sticks if possible. Also, check all the drum and cymbal stands are in good order and tighten up anything that rattles. Tune the drums to sound the way you would like to hear them in the recording.
Rehearse rehearse rehearse! Make sure everybody knows exactly what they are playing and when.
If you do all this before you get to the studio you will save time (and money) when you are here.

ARCHIVING.
Your recording will be backed up to two different hard drives at the end of each days recording. After your session is finished we will keep the data for one month in case you decide to come back and change anything.
To keep a permanent archive of your recording you will need to take a copy away and store it safely. If it’s only a few tracks then it can be burned to DVD’s for you to take away, for larger sessions it is more cost effective for you to bring a USB drive to copy the data onto.

Please contact the studio if you have any questions before your session.
